Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
This policy is issued by GENI GLOBAL SOFTWARE AND TECHNOLOGY JOINT STOCK COMPANY ("Genify", "we", "us", "our"), a game studio registered in Vietnam.
For any question about this policy or about your personal data, write to contact@genify.vn.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to the games and websites published by Genify, including Pengrid, wherever we distribute them — our own website, the mobile web, and third-party platforms such as TikTok, CrazyGames and app stores.
It does not cover those third-party platforms themselves. When you play one of our games inside another company's app or website, that company is an independent controller of whatever data it collects about you, under its own privacy policy. See section 5.
3. Information we collect
We do not collect personal data through our games. We have no server that receives data from them. Concretely, the following are all absent from our games:
| Category | Do we collect it? |
|---|---|
| Name, email address, phone number, postal address | No |
| User accounts, usernames, passwords | No — there is no login |
| Payment or billing information | No — our games are free and contain no purchases |
| Precise or approximate location | No |
| Contacts, calendar, photos, files | No |
| Camera or microphone input | No |
| Advertising identifiers (IDFA, GAID) or device fingerprints | No |
| Analytics, telemetry, crash reports, heat maps | No |
| Cookies used for tracking or profiling | No |
| Contact lists, social graph, friends | No |
| Content you create, upload or post | No — there is nothing to post |
We do not sell personal data, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or use it to build profiles. We could not do so if we wanted to, because we never receive it.
Our games do not need a network connection
Once a game has loaded, it makes no further requests to the internet. No fonts, images, scripts, analytics beacons or advertising calls are fetched while you play. You can put the device into aeroplane mode and keep playing.
4. Information stored on your device
So that the game can remember where you were, we store a small amount of
information locally on your own device, using the browser's
localStorage mechanism. This information is not personal data,
is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, and never leaves your device.
| What is stored | Why |
|---|---|
| Current puzzle and journey progress | So you can close the game mid-level and come back to it |
| Best completion times per grid size | To show your personal records |
| Theme preference (light or dark) | So the game looks the way you left it |
| Sound on or off | To respect your last choice |
You are in control of this. Clearing your browser's site data, or uninstalling the app, deletes all of it permanently. We keep no copy, so there is nothing for you to request from us and nothing for us to restore.
A note on cross-device saves
Some hosting platforms offer their own save-sync service so your progress follows you between devices. Where a build of our game uses such a service, the progress data described above is handled by that platform under its own privacy policy, and is still limited to game state — never to personal information about you.
5. Platforms that host our games
Our games are distributed on third-party platforms. Those platforms collect data about you independently of us, in accordance with their own policies — typically including your IP address, device and browser characteristics, and how you interact with their service. This happens because you are using their product, not because of anything our game does.
We do not receive that data. We have no access to their logs and cannot identify individual players from anything they provide us. Where a platform gives us aggregate statistics — for example a total play count — those figures contain no personal data.
To understand what a platform collects, read its own policy:
- TikTok — tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy
- CrazyGames — crazygames.com/privacy
- Any other store or portal where you found the game, per its own terms
Where a platform requires us to integrate its software development kit (SDK) for lifecycle events such as pausing when you switch away, that SDK is provided and controlled by the platform. We use only the functions needed to make the game behave correctly on that platform.
6. Advertising
Our games contain no advertising. We serve no ads, embed no ad networks, and use no advertising identifiers.
If we ever introduce advertising in a future release, we will update this policy before that release ships, describe exactly what the ad provider receives, and — where the law requires consent — ask for it first.
Note that a platform hosting our game may show its own advertising around or before the game. That advertising is the platform's, is governed by the platform's policy, and is outside our control.
7. Children's privacy
Our games are suitable for all ages and are designed so that they are safe for children to play: there is no chat, no user-generated content, no social feature, no purchase, no advertising, and no data collection of any kind.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — or from anyone else. Because we collect no personal information at all, we do not require verifiable parental consent under the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and there is no children's data for us to disclose or delete under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or equivalent laws.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a Genify game has somehow obtained information from your child, contact contact@genify.vn and we will investigate and respond.
8. Legal basis for processing
Under the GDPR and similar regimes, a controller must have a legal basis for processing personal data. We process no personal data through our games, so no legal basis is engaged.
Where you contact us directly — by email, for support or a legal request — we process the information in your message on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering you, and where applicable to comply with a legal obligation. We keep such correspondence only as long as needed to deal with the matter and any follow-up. See section 10.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, data-protection law gives you rights over personal data held about you. These typically include the right to access it, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Residents of California additionally have rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing — and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
In practice, we hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, port or erase. We have never sold or shared personal data, and we do not engage in cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
The one thing you can act on directly: the game state described in section 4 is yours, on your device. Clear your site data to erase it.
You are still welcome to send us a request at contact@genify.vn. We will respond within the period the applicable law sets — normally 30 days — and confirm in writing what we hold, which we expect to be nothing.
10. Retention and deletion
We retain no player data, because we receive none. Game state stays on your device until you delete it.
Email correspondence you send us is retained for as long as needed to resolve your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then deleted.
11. Security
The most effective security measure available to us is not holding your data in the first place, and that is the one we have chosen. There is no player database to breach.
Our games are served over HTTPS. The data stored on your device is protected by your own device and browser security — the same protections that apply to every other site you visit.
12. International transfers
We do not transfer personal data internationally, because we do not collect it. Our games are distributed globally by the platforms listed in section 5, and those platforms handle any international transfer of the data they themselves collect, under their own safeguards.
13. Links to other sites
Our games and this website may link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them information.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy — for example if we release a game that works differently from the ones described here. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
If a change materially affects your privacy — in particular if we ever begin collecting personal data or introduce advertising — we will make that clear prominently, in the game or on this page, before the change takes effect.
15. Contact us
